We noticed when we first joined Instagram that it was a site of start ups in New England. Model Mayhem a few years prior had many pro togs but not Instagram. To this day I ask, What is the purpose of a model image?
Models seems to think if you have an account as a photographer you are a pro and nothing is further from the truth.
Skill sets of knowing the purpose of a model image, an eye for detail and an eye to avoid distractions and the ability that all pros could make a great model agency portfolio for a model.
Models do you ask your photographer about their experience? Start asking and any PUBLISHED profiles are never those worthy of an agency portfolio. No pro model or photographer calls themselves published who make millions and are in several newsstand magazines yet hundreds in New England lie to us with phone published claims.
